Interactive map from 2015. Right in my prime hunting area is one of the densest locations.
The opening map view shows points where plague-positive rodents were collected (1984 - 2013 Locations of Plague-positive Rodents) and the density of plague-positive rodent collections (1984 - 2013 Density of Plague-positive Rodents) for all collection years. Density is defined as the number of plague-positive rodents per square mile; the darker color, the more positive rodents in that location

Like the bear mount really nice!!!
Dove starts Sept 1st here in Pa. Every year its the same. I have dozens of them at the feeders on the deck. I see they thin out once the shooting starts. I never tried them I hear they are good eating? I think our small game season starts mid Oct.

Remember when we smiled like that!! great picture of the boy

Dove is good eatin!! All dark meat, but I like them in the crock pot or on the grill wrapped in bacon. Takes a decent number to make a meal though.

Not in the picture, but my dad has a beautiful 250lbs black bear mounted. The bear in the picture was small, but wounded so he killed it to keep it from suffering. It is a cool mount. All the grandkids used to be afraid to go into my dad's shop because of the bears. Lol. His shop is also his race shop for his sprint car team. My oldest nephew used to run in the door to get past the bears until he reached all the racecar stuff then he would calm down. It was amusing to watch.

Really looking forward to squirrel season too but it needs to cool off quite a bit before I go out. Personally I like it best when most of the leaves are off the trees. Last year was my first year in quite awhile since I had gone squirrel hunting. I was using my Talon .22 cal. now I have my Wildcat in .25 cal. to go after them. Should be knocking them out of the trees with all that extra fpe and larger caliber. Bill
