Squirrel hunting with pics and Video + story

It started at 3am when I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I had put my alarm for 3:30am so I could be ready and out the door by 4am so me and my hunting buddy Jovan could get to our hunting grounds right at sunrise. We met up at 5am and loaded up my car with all the necessary gear/guns for the days squirrel shoot. Upon arrival we noticed that the squirrels were already out and about which was like a little after 6am. We set up right in an area of the field we hunt and decided to hunt it all day. Last week the sun kicked our butts while hunting because we usually park in the middle of the field and walk around and sit, shooting 360 degrees around us all day; moving around the most active areas. So this time I came prepared and brought my ez-up, portable table, chairs and shooting bench so we could be "lazy hunters" as Jovan was saying lol. We hadn't hunted this area of the field so there were a bunch of squirrels. The grass is getting pretty high and a good pair of binoculars is necessary for spotting just an eye or ear peeking at you through the grass. I decided to get some use out of my .22 Marauder since I've been mainly using my .25 Marauder for hunting. I also decided that since we were going to be in the shade, I would try using my Casio high speed camera to get some of the action of scope cam. After shooting a couple of squirrels through the camera, it became very addicting to shoot and watch the pellet hitting home. I only got to shoot like 2-3 hours through the scope cam before my battery died

mostly because I was watching the videos on my camera and leaving it on. After that I got out the .25 and Jovan who had been using his 9mm custom Filarms started using his .22 Gladiator for some long range work since we pretty much shot all the 40-50 yard squirrels around us. We just continued to shoot till the action slowed down which was around 2pm. Both of us hadn't got much sleep the night before so we called it a day. I seriously don't remember how many squirrels we took, I always try to remember but quickly forget when the action picks up. Sorry about the quality in the video, next time I'm going to slap the scope cam on my .25 Marauder w/ Hawke Sidewinder Tactical so the quality will be better. The scope on my .22 is a Hawke Eclipse 6-24 which is set @ 20x. My scope was also a little canted on my .22, something I will correct before shooting again but my gun was level. I also caught Jovan get a nice head shot in slow mo at about the 5:00 mark in the video. You can see the 9mm round ball coming in from left to right and impacting the squirrels head. We also got to do a little bird watching as a couple of turkey vultures and another big white bird that looked like a stork? came in to watch us. And no we didn't shoot at them, only with my camera
