I understand you completely JohnL57 about the FWB 124. I just had a new piston seal replaced for the second time in the 35+ years I've owned it. The first time I replaced the stock spring with a new stock spring. This time I was told not to replace the spring because the new replacement springs are a little bit stiffer and don't shoot as accurately. The airgunsmith told me to never sell that gun because I would regret it. It still sends the old silver jets I bought "by the barrel" back in the late 80's @ 788fps and makes one hole all day at 15yds. It is not hold sensative for a springer and will kill a groundhog at more than 60yds. with perfect shot placement What an easy to cock and awesome trigger that baby has! I too wish you had'nt sold it for your sake but I bet I know why you did! More power! It was my first springer and it spoiled me too. Life marches on.
