Spotty accuracy post HUMA install on 25 WC....help!

Hello Everyone --=--
My Wildcat 25 was having some issues in keeping it's POI, so I sent it off to AoA for a HUMA install, O-Ring replacement and tune up. I had taken everything off of it for the shipping and just sent the basic block, barrel and shroud.
Got it back and reassembled everything, then sighted it in. No problem. After about 4 magazines (8 shots each = 40 shots) I checked it for center and it was good, so I refilled and continued. Still had a small group at 50 yards, then the wheels fell off.
It started to be erratic and as I sighted in again it would hold then lose the POI again. Checked for scope mount tightness, all seems good. Checked for possible clipping, don't see any evidence of clipping marks on the Huggett. Tried it again this evening, great results, then after a few magazines, it starts shooting at 10 o'clock by 3". This at an indoor range, so no weather factor.
It shot well before the initial issue and sending to AoA, and it now is nothing but frustrating.
Scope is a Burris Veracity, 4 x 16 x 50. The regulator was set at 140 bar by AoA as confirmed by them. Do I need to reaffirm this?
Is there a break in for new regulators? I have put about 200 pellets through it since it's return from AoA.
Looking for suggestions please.

Yes, regulators do break in. It's the dowdy washers settling into a comfy position.
200 sounds about right for break in but, each one will be slightly different.
I'd disassemble just like you did when you sent it. Don't skip a single thing you did. Then, reassemble and test the results. If the same thing happens again - good, then bad. You'll be one step closer to finding the culprit. If not, then it's time to look further into other reasons.
Take the huggett off and test for results. Just because it doesn't "look" like it's hitting the Huggett does not mean that
a.) it isn't
b.) it isn't being affected by the Huggett.
Good luck!
Tom
ST or STX barrel? If STX, that could be another thing to check into.

I will take all of your advice Tom, thank you for taking the time to post an answer. It is a Gen I WC by the way so, no STX barrel, only a ST. Shooting AA 25.40gr pellets. I had thought of that very thing, taking off the Huggett and trying it without.
likkitysplyt --=-- Thank you too for your insight. I had already looked at and replaced that O Ring per your previous post about same, thanks for that post by the way. I shipped it to AoA due to it's proximity to my residence on the west coast, plus they offer the HUMA as a replacement.
I will disassemble, reassemble and shoot it more to get past about the 200 mark, then see what happens.
Thanks all for the valuable input and insights.

jking --=-- Unfortunately, I don't have a chrono just yet, I use my friends and he's not here right now. I plan on getting it and doing the chrono thing as soon as he is available. I am using Air Arms (AA) 25.4 Diablo Match pellets. The issue could very well still be there, more experimenting to occur, I am asking for help to find out what I need to find out so I know what to look for and get for testing. Thank you for your good suggestions.

Keyman --=-- I have checked the moderator ends and yes, they are tight, both ends. I will remove it tomorrow and see if that makes a difference at all. Had not thought of checking the HSA threads, thanks for that tip as well as the moderator tip, this is great stuff.

More testing to come. I will let you know how/what I find..
Thanks again guys!

Good evening all --=--
I went out today and removed the moderator first thing, man this thing is LOUD sans the mod!! But it shot like it did with it on, so no help there.
During my sighting in session, I noted that perhaps one of my magazines might be bad as I was having issues with it advancing and chambering. Put that magazine aside and continued to zero. It did rather well at 40 yards, so I went ground squirrel hunting and did okay at +50-60 yards. Came back to the sighing board and had some minor adjustments to make, went back to the squirrels and did okay, missed some between 50-60 yards, but had better luck beyond 60 yards.
I did shoot the tank down by about 50 shots before I left for the day in my garage, maybe that put the break in over the top, or close to it.
So for today at least, it did okay, we shall see about next weeks excursion.....stay tuned folks and again, thanks to all responders.
