Spotting Scope DEAL----SCAM???-----OF THE CENTURY

I emailed the co last wk and told them make sure you send a spotting scope and not a switch cover or anything else I dont want. Now I just received a email saying they are canceling my order ....this must be a big mistake in the listing dept. I'm glad now I dont have to take back switch covers or something I didnt want .

I really appreciate O'doyle's heads up on excellent deals and advice and the last 2 tips looked as though they were totally risk free.
In fact I bought some scopes as per his sale tip from Midway several months ago and kept the nicest one and returned the rest within 90 days for free. Yes returned for free so the guy obviously knows his stuff.
I joined back in November but hadn't posted anything until today and just felt the need to voice my opinion about the haters that I see of this fine gentleman that is all.
By the way no issues here with returning the wrong item from Walmart no big deal and no loss. Not a big enough deal to complain about everyone has a Walmart right?
I just don't get it why all the hate? Can't understand it since life's too short to waste your energy on hating people. The guy has so many positive points being here for only less than 7 months. What does that say and haters got more credibility? He was called YO before? That's 178 accuracy points in less than one year combined REALLY?
I don't even know the guy but it does seem as though he has good intentions.

They cancelled my order and nothing ever charged to CC. No big deal. It was worth a shot. The term "scam" infers there is premeditation, malice and an injured party. There were none of those with this situation much less all of them. Nobody was charged anything. The vendor simply messed up their listing. We pounced on it knowing it didn't seem right. Everything was painlessly resolved with no effort on our part except the one guy who had to return the wrong parts where he was refunded with no questions asked. This was simply a deal that didn't go through.

HEY HEY NO WORRIES We cool Redick and me chat too off of the forum. He asks for my opinion off of the forum then don't even listen hahaha like the Athlon Ares I said it's a 25 yard focus he still bought it then sold it right after and bought the Alpha6 haha.

I was one too that jumped on buying one. Got a notice this morning that it had been delivered . The problem is they delivered it to someone in Knoxville TN I live in Indiana lol
I chatted with someone with Walmart I tried to get them to replace it with one of comparable value. They wouldn't go for that. They did refund my money though. I guess you don't know unless you try. It was worth a shot.

Got this email a while back... Checked my bank account and no mony was charged, although when the purchase was first initiated they did put the usual hold on the 41.86$. That disappeared in a few days with no charge ever pulled from the account to this date...
For me, imo, was worth the '5min to order' chance at an impossible deal that we all were skeptical of ever coming to fruition. Yes it was a long shot, I've won long shots at the track numerous times. Not this time...
Not worried about my info getting used nefariously as this is my online acct used exclusively for online purchases covered 100% by WF bank and only my info that was already in Walmart's possession was available.
Man that would have been nice to get for 40...
