Yeah, There are a few out there that will be sold out in an hour then will be the usual wait time....Of course the accessories etc. Will be slow coming to market (just sae the Maverick slug kit got released 5 months after the gun)....Those will all sell out and back on a waiting list.

I like FX guns for the adjustability and ease of use for the new shooters etc. that we take out but honestly pretty much all my "higher" end guns out shoot me any day...

I do have a .25 700mm M3 on the way and will take it on our Summer shoots and then it will hit the classifieds. If it just blows my other .25 out of the water it may stay but really it comes down to me pulling the trigger and my middle aged eyes and trigger do ger ain't what they used to be (Ha, yet they let me practice medicine so can't be to bad)!!

Wonder when FX will make a self aiming and shooting gun and I can sit outside and drink beer and just watch the half inch 200 yard groups form....

Interesting that they’ve copied Daystate on the integrated chrono in the barrel. I guess imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery!

Integrated Chrono in the barrel? Really? Looks to me like an optional FX Chrono on a stick with remote Bluetooth readout. Integrated in the barrel??? Maybe they meant ON not IN?

The YouTube video shows a PCB and makes it appear that it’s integrated into the shroud somehow but there haven’t been any demo videos to confirm that, though. I just found it amusing that after all the jokes about the DW copying the Impact, they come out and do the same thing.

I’m interested to see how it ends up working but doubt it will be as advanced as the DW’s automatic adjustments.

I stand by my previous statement. Time will tell if its the add on I showed above or integral to the shroud - yes, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... In either case, it is velocity information only, and has no control functions for the gun like the DW. I'll apologize if it turns out I'm wrong...

DING! Apologies... Just saw the latest post with the "in line" chrono. Although it has no control function and is "read only". Still pretty cool..... 👊

Honestly, this company brings more shame to the game than the lames who support them. If it were up to some people, everyone would own/shoot FX...if it were up to me, no one would..let the company fade into black like every single one of their 'innovations' over time...

FX owners are the type of people who have to call AAA road side assistance if they need a tire change.

If my opinion upsets you, stay away from the internet. :)

Seriously dude?

I'm sure most of the Fx owners can change tire faster than you do.

Looks like they posted a clearer definition of the accessories. I think this will clear up a lot of people’s questions. Mine too ;)

To help out those reading this thread, we've posted details about the other accessories. Here's the link:https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/the-full-list-of-additional-fx-impact-m3-launch-accessories/

Appreciate all the good natured speculation / discussion / wondering. That's part of the fun right. And happy to address any questions you have as we try to be as transparent as we can (although maybe not leading up to a rifle release... why spoil the fun 😉)

Timelines are listed on the accessory descriptions as well. Half will be here mid to end of May, the rest a month or two later pending production. Saying this with a good amount of knowledge and knowing how many Impact M3s are on the market ready to sell (we like to announce things and not make people wait, as much as possible. Yes demand can be tough to keep up on, but not from failing to hurl ourselves at it and keep up).

As way of further explanation, the FX Maverick was a brand new line (meaning hiring, quality control, efficiency growing pains, etc), released at the end of the year, that ran into holidays and an ERP switch over in Sweden the first two weeks of January. The FX Impact line is already fully up and running. It's a well oiled machine. They're making M3s instead of MKIIs and we're getting the same quantities that were coming into the market last Oct/Nov/Dec (Dealers everywhere shaking there heads in approval).

All of this to say demand might go crazy, but don't necessarily assume you'll have to wait.

Instagram Q&A happening over the next hour if you guys want to ask me other questions.

Lot's to get your head wrapped around. Trust me I know 😁

Hey, thank for the friendly assist. If I wasn't so long winded I could have saved you the trouble.

In Giles’ video, about 2-3 minutes before it is over (when talking about the addons), he says that the chrono is in the moderator and that it can be used on non-FX airguns... very interesting. Curious to see how that works out.

I see this as being completely possible. I have a tracer moderator add on for an airsoft gun that connects to phone via bluetooth. It allows you to switch the tracer into chronograph mode and the speeds then read out on the phone. My only complaint might be from the built-in lipo I see in the teaser video. They don't always use a quality lipo and they can die - what is the recourse there when it won't charge any longer?

I was really hoping this M3 would be more left hander user friendly. But, from the photos and angles I see it look like the mag still sticks out just at a left-handed shooters cheek.

Sooo. Yeah the chronograph is integrated into the moderator.

I think this remains to be seen... I'm skeptical.

I'm curious, Not trying to be rude or anything, but we did just see the DW integrate a chronograph in the Barrel (?).. So it seems the technology is achievable ( I haven't had my hands on a DW longer than a couple of minutes in person, so I'm not that familiar with the design and how well it works. But what is it specifically that you're skeptical for? did the DW design not stay consistent or work that well? I know they are probably 2 companies that didn't trade secrets lol. So is the skepticism in replicating a similar but different tech design or just the working chronograph attachment to the moderator. Because the FX Chrono that I use works pretty well, so I am assuming they just innovated into a different shape, however these companies that design things do, haha.

Was (notice the past tense) skeptical because an internal shroud mounted chrono works on a different principle than the FX Radar Chrono. At the time all I saw was the FX Chrono on a stick. I hadn't yet seen the one that screws on the 1/2-20 threads at the end of the barrel.... My mistake. FYI, the DW design works perfectly, but then they have been using that general technology in their guns for many years...
