For only $2,899.99…   Ha!  Aaaah, that’s funny!

Yes, I have to agree – not worth the price.  Also the esthetics aren't as good as the Crowns. Current Impact owners do get some great upgrades. Seems like the prior Crown owner are left behind, but, if you only payed $1500 for your Crown what do you expect…. :(

Tough to compare a traditional wood stocked gun to a chassis rifle for upgrades.  Having the action and bottle mostly encased in wood limits what you can attach or add to it.  The Impact is the flagship.

The setting can be locked on the probe just by tightening the grub screw on the side that holds the probe in the block. If you put a small piece of weedeater gut beneath the grub screw it will keep pressure but allow you to adjust without loosening.

    Tell that to FX

I don't want to argue, but, the Dreamline has a power plenum…

Its also a tube gun….thats built on a chassis.  Crown is a different story which is what the comparison was made to.

I'm shooting the 30gr h&n slugs at 1000fps (super crazy accurate) with an external plenum on 140 bar. Love that gun and concept! Great work, price is a little steep, but u get what u pay for!

Thank you Matt. Keep up your great R&D. We all benefit and learn from your hard work by either buying one off the shelf or having the means to DIY with the fantastic FX Impact platform and support system.

I would buy it if only there was no Dubber's name on it. Can't stand that guy.

I have always thought of Matt as a pioneer in the slug world! And also enjoy his videos, and tuning tips.

Man, he does not even have any scientific degree and he tries to be smarter than he really is. C'mon, start thinking. Matt is a pioneer as a flip-flops killer.

Why do you need to have a scientific degree to understand airguns? Many aigun manufacturers, dealers and tuners have started it as a hobby, think experience is better than a degree.

To my knowledge, it was that flip-flop killer who urged Fredrik and Johan Axelson to investigate more into slugs. Matt has therefore also done a lot of research in the FX factory for the slug liners.

No offense but Matt is not a pioneer.. Ppl have shot slugs out from airguns for atleast last 30years. If you see youtube sales person and hear about something from it dose it make him pioneer of something? Anyhow FX and youtube boys are enough big to make pellet manufacturers like JSB and H&N willing to dig into it and thats good I suppose.

Well. Let’s unpack that for a moment. I can now buy slugs in .22 from the main manufactures such as JSB and H&N, and many smaller players. And they shoot accurately in my new Impact at high enough speed. This has brought a whole new dimension to my hobby. Might not be for everyone, but for me, he is a pioneer.

By the way, the fact that my impact has to be harmonically tuned to shoot slugs accurately, makes this journey even more rewarding (and frustrating) but very enjoyable. Two days ago with my new 600mm Impact, 26gr slugs suddenly went from 40mm groups to about 10mm. That’s after nearly 200 shots. I had my two friends at the range looking through their scopes when I shot that group of 4 slugs. Both looked up at me with that WTF look.

Pioneer away, Matt and thank you.
