Special Airgun Field Target this coming Sunday- Thanksgiving edition! Concord CA

Good evening!

Field Target this coming Sunday, 11-18-18 -

8:30 am for setup, 9:00 am start. First 10 shooters warm up in the long bay, Bay 1, so come early and stake your claim!

This will be a "fun" match, except for two Turkey shoot qualifiers- Two targets will be designated for our turkey shoot- winners take home America's favorite meal, Spam.

The rest of the course will have generous kill zones and placed at reasonable ranges for those who want to experiment with WFTF, springers or CO2 guns.

20 ft lbs limit, .22 cal and under, $10 for Diablo members, and $15 for guests. Youth 18 and under shoot for free, but need an adult supervisor.

Don't have a gun, pellets? - > We have you covered, send me an email. Now you have no excuse and you may just bring home the bacon (Spam)!

Now with more Muck-ery!!

Been reading/following the FT Air Pistol "All Hands" threads, and would like to offer this upcoming match for a dual shoot:

If you have a FT Pistol that you'd like to shoot "All Hands" - Standing, two handed, no other supports - bring it out!
We will designate 10 of the targets for this special allowance, and allow you to shoot both your "normal" category, and then pick up your pistol, and shoot the "All Hands" score card.
Better yet, shoot all hands first - no ranging - then shoot your normal rifle/pistol air gun.

Any takers? I'll share my Edgun Velez with a red dot for those that want to shoot with me.....

Wow, we had a course! Jim Mizer constructed a layout for the ages, while Son Lu put our two "Turkey" targets in difficult to reach places- and somehow, walked away with the Grand Prize!
We had two shooters that haven't shot FT before; both shot great scores, despite an increasing wind and as say in Van Nuy's, smoke gets in your eyes.
John B. broke out a Diana Outlaw that he scoped yesterday and shot like he was doing an advertisement for the big "D".
The usual crowd came out, and you could see the year has sharpened their game- we had some lanes with easy targets, but you couldn't break 50 (out of 66) without doing everything correctly!
Let me share the scores, and some pictures- thank you, everyone, for coming out to play! Each shooter pitched in and helped setup and tear down the course- the targets are resting until next month; we are shooting year round, rain or shine!!!

Our Turkey shoot winners- John B, Son Lu, & Dana W were all on the podium, with Son taking the overall:

John B. wringing out the Diana, with Dana winding up his Thomas in the background:

I saw this scenario all match long- the Diana knocking them flat:
