It’s good to have spare parts on hand when something starts to go wrong with one of your springers isn’t it. My German airrifles don’t have any spare parts yet as they haven’t let me down. On the other hand my two Benjamin Trails have extensive parts imo on hand to cover most issues that have or may arise. Parts like spare rams, breach seals, pivot washers, piston seals, jam springs, and spare stock and trigger screws to name a few.
Last Monday I noticed that my 22 cal Trail started to place pellets where I wasn’t aiming and further investigation revealed that the barrel wasn’t locking up tight. So I replaced the jam spring put it back together (didn’t remove scope) and the first group was 2 inches higher than with the old spring. So all is well, the Trail is back to shooting where I point it for now.
Its good to have spare parts available, what do other folks carry to avert a crises when something goes wrong?
