I may have missed this in the thread, but the trigger on the pr900w is adjustable. If you drop the action out of the stock and look at the trigger set up, the lowest pin pushes out and the trigger blade will swing forward to reveal a tiny grub screw. Turning this anti clockwise acts directly on the sear, so you lose the pseudo 1st stage and get a much improved break. Don't unscrew it too far, or it will fall out (and you'll most likely lose it, and the pin!) Also, don't adjust it out that far that the sear will break if you bang the rifle down. Hope this helps. I'll try to add pics of the trigger. Btw, got mine for £140 with Hawke 3-12x50, and have made a new transfer port, since it was only producing 7 - 10 ft/lb through curve. Now it makes 11.7 ft/lb at peak. (We are limited to 12 ft/lb in U.K. without firearms certificate)
