Just kidding, but seriously you bring up a good point! Owning both guns I’d straight up tell you that they both can potentially have problems. As can any PCP. But, if one could acquire a Streamline for a lower cost I would highly recommend it! I’ll never let mine go.

The Dreamline Classic could be referred to as the Streamline MK2. One would have the potential to do a great deal more with it’s modular capabilities. If a potential buyer absolutely plans to leave the gun in the stock Classic form, they could go either route and still find themselves with a great airgun...

My son wanted to upgrade his Streamline synthetic .25 cal. to something a little smaller and lighter. I listed it at a low price thinking it would be a great deal for somebody. We bought it for $1000 plus tax, used it for less than a year, it's in like new condition, listed it for $699 thinking it would sell fast but have had very little interest. I think people are just way into the Dreamline because of the modularity even though the Streamline is a great gun. Plus, a lot of people like the shot count of a bottle gun, which you can't get with a Streamline. End of an era???

You know I thought about selling my .22 Streamline. I would not want to let it go for less than 700.00. I also have one in .25 cal, that I did custom stock work on and put a Huma in it. I would not even think of parting with it for 1500.00. They are great rifles and are dependable as heck. FX probably devalued them with the Dreamline, but the Streamline might be a sleeper , keeping mine before I give it away to a stranger. If a person wants a dependable rifle , the Streamline would be hard to beat. If the Dreamline turns out to be as trouble free as the Streamlines, then FX has something good. I might reduce the LOP on the .22 and give it to my Grandkids, before I let it go for less than 700.

FX appears dedicated to the ultra adjustable genre of air rifles. Lots of neat features, but a complex design. I had a Crown, neat rifle, but a bit fragile, too many parts. Sold it. I have a RAW and a Red Wolf. But my two favorites are a Taipan Veteran, and an FX Royale 400, the original solid ST barrel, no sleeve and liner. I like simple. The Streamline is essentially a cylinder version of the Royale.

Yep.
