Exciting, thanks for sharing! How did you come across the news? There is nothing on their website? Social media?

Dang I was hoping it was a forward cocking lever. As far as looks, that would be right up there with one of the ugliest, not something I personally would ever buy.

Since I dislike all things tactical, not a desirable option for me. As for the forward cocking, I'm so accustomed to mine, I would prefer to keep the current, simpler system, which is essentially the standard design, just moved to the rear with the action.

I don't mean to be an old stick in the mud. But the current rifle is so good, I'll keep it, just as it is.

That is precisely what I said about the FX Impact…3 Impacts ago.😂

You know. I keep hoping for something like Kalibrgun did with the Carbine Mini. The lever really isn't forward at all per se, however the configuration is still like that of a Semi-bullpup. I actually have gotten used to the rear cocking lever. I never take my hand off the gun's handle, I give it the ol reach around and cock it with my left hand. It has become so natural, that when I have been playing around with the Wildcat, I keep reaching for the lever with my left hand. 😂

I like it. Mostly because that front rail might open up the options for a hamster for field target use. The butthook option is also nice, from a field target view. While a butthook could be thrown onto a Taipan wood or laminate stock, it looks better in this prototype picture.

I realize that I am probably by myself, but I would like to see the Veteran in a good old fashioned sporter rifle stock. Now that will grease my gun!

Or, for them to get with the times and move that dog dagg nabbit cocker arm further down center where she belongs.

I'm just curious as to why the barrel appears to be several inches shorter than the air tube. ???

Cool factor I suppose. With the right length on an adapter, both barrel and airtube are flush which makes an attractive kit. British tuners have been doing the same for a while now.

That's how they all look now. If you remove the shroud the barrel is that short. That computer mockup shows the gun without the shroud.

I know totally tree. I don’t have social media but when I was an instructor the kids had already migrated away from FB, which I don’t have either. I do have email, haha.

@lieutenantcolumbo My daddy used to say back when he could talk, before his stroke "No tan calvo due se le vean los cesos" It translates verbatim as "Not so bald as to be able to see the brains" I think the basic meaning here is not to be so obsessed with one thing as to be radical. I use these venues to my advantage. I have aliases and no "friends" I follow groups of interest to me, knives, airguns, language learning, etc. Even in the darkest of places there are always things to learn.

I could care less about all the social media, I have my sources, emails, and phone. No need to check anything else, nor update the world that I'm taking #2.

Is that not what you just did here, this is social media right here ? And we all now know you dropped a deuce, so you are still “ connected”.
