So today I got to do some chrony testing with my new sniper x2 in 357. I did a chrony string with the Hatsan Vortex 81.02 grain pellets (which appear to be exactly the same as the JSB ones). And I did a test of the 82 grain grizzly magnum 357 slugs vs some resized 355 grizzly magnum slugs.

I think the gun may need some hammer spring screw adjustment but I haven't been able to find any info or support online about that stuff for these guns. Basically, at 200bar max fill pressure, the speed starts high and just goes down...it doesn't go up first, then plateau, then begin to decrease.

I did find that after resizing the rabbit magnum pellet/slugs, the speed did increase a small amount. The accuracy and groups greatly improved, but still not as tight and consistent as the diabolo pellets. The factory rabbit magnums fly all over the place...I'd say a 2-3 foot wide group at 50 yards. The resized ones got about a 5" group...still not very good.

One interesting this I noted, at 200bar starting pressure, the resized rabbit magnums flew faster than the diabolo pellets at that same pressure. Not sure why.
