Went out yesterday to the dairy, mainly to check out the new Brocock .25 HP and my scope tape. It all went very well and then I blew a breech seal (my own fault). So I made a quick day of it, but I managed to get a few before that happened. (Tactcam footage)

No it's an Aztec sfp scope. Brocock rifles will blow the seal easily if the cocking lever is not in the locked position when fired. I make it a habit to cock the gun only before I take a shot. But on this occasion the bird flew away before I could squeeze the trigger and I left it cocked. I must have brushed against the lever and moved it before I shot at another bird a few minutes later.

Good shooting Hawkeye, I’ve been lucky not to blow a breech seal yet on my Compatto or Bantam.

I got so tired of blowing breech seals with my .25 Brocock. It never happens with my Vulcan2.

And that was some nice shooting too on those collared doves.
