Some pics of my new AA Pro Sport walnut stock

Awesome looking rifle. I recently purchased a used but in excellent condition AA Pro Sport. Did your rifle come with the moderator? I believe mine is an older model and it does not have the visible moderator as your rifle does. I would like to quieten it down some if possible. Is there a moderator one can purchase that will fit on the older model rifle?

If I would read your entire post I would have known the stock is custom.

Still would like to know about the moderator.

Walnut and steel. It never gets old. Thanks for the comments guys.

Shiloh1944, re: the blued steel muzzle weight/brake, it's a bit shrouded in mystery. The fellow I bought it from thought it might have been factory installed. I doubt that's the case. I've seen a video from a FT Good Old Boy's match by Brad Troyer from the mid-late 2000 and the rifle appeared to have the muzzle device on at that time. I will say this; it has baffles, it's well made and the extra weight up front is nice. It's one of my quietest springers. My guess is that someone had it custom made.

Some have used adaptors and Huggets/other moderators, so that may be an option.

Sorry, I had already commented on this thread and was asking the same questions about the moderator.

You didn't see my reply above? Answered you on the same day you posted your question.

Yes, I saw your reply. Was disappointed because I was hoping it was commercially available. I would really like to have one on mine. I know the gun is fairly quiet but wish it were a bit quitter and with the short barrel it looks good too. I love shooting the rifle.

I noticed that your CS stock looks to have the same WEGU adjustable recoil pad as does my Theoben Evo thumbhole stock. Not surprising as CS made most of (if not all) the stocks for Theoben. The WEGU pads are very popular in Europe and I recently tried to order one from CS. They were very nice to deal with but had none in stock (no pun intended :). I eventually contacted another company in the UK and ordered one from them. A bit pricey because of shipping but I wanted to have the original pad that came with the airgun. It's just me, I like keeping things as original as possible with certain guns I own and with others I will tinker around.
