Athlon Midas TAC. I have an SWFA 3-15 FFP mil-quad and like it but I think the TAC is clearer, the turrets and zero stop are AWESOME and the reticle is the best I've seen. I will be selling my SWFA because of this.

Bushnell Forge 3-18x 50mm FFP @ $499. Definitely worth consideration. Checks most all the boxes.

I went ahead and got the Midas Tac. Opticsplanet had a very good deal on it. Before tax it was like 585.00 Anyway, I wasn't sure about it not having an illuminated reticle but in all fairness I have never really used the illuminated reticle.
Just got it today....looks sweet. The weather sucks so I'll get it up on the Impact and have it good to go once things turn nice.
Does anyone know if this scope comes optically centered from the manufacturer?

Also look at the Bushnell Nitro 6-24x50. It can be found at Midway for $339, with an extra 29% back in rebate. It is FFP, with a great choice in reticles and very clear glass. Although it does not have a lighted reticle. The glass is as good as or better than my Athlon Midas 2.5-15x50. I use the MOA version for HFT with good ranging success. Also, it is made in Korea.
