so my take on my omega compressor

So my first impression was not good as other users had some issues. So I bought a bottle as I wanted something to charge. First time fail (but I found a leak). Second time fail (but its still leaking). Third time and my bottle is charged to over 4,000psi and no issues. Reading every thing I can about this unit it's gonna eat o-rings and I'm gonna invest in some expensive lube but for a compressor that plugs into 117V outlet it does what it claims it will do. Just my first impressions. I hope this helps. Free from filling from others is worth something.

I have no experience on o_rings just what Ive read. Little omega bottle (68 cu in) from near 0 to 4000 plus 30 to 40 minutes. The noise isn't huge but it isn't silent I'll say in line with a shop compressor (100 psi). My leak was the connection from the compressor to the fill hose (kinda amazing how tight that needed to be ). and no picts but thanks for asking.

I'll add to the conversation. I filled directly two pcp rifles to 220 bar from about ~100 in about 4 and a half minutes in my office 18" from me. I'll agree with other peoples take that it is about as loud as a top loading washing machine. I had no leaks (plumbers tape on the fittings out of the gate). The cooling works well, both cylinders had a cool touch when filled. The gauge on the gun vs the pump was off by about 10 bar(the pump was 10 bar higher than the rifles). I went with the gun gauge.

Good info. Ya all keep us posted. Just leaving to take the tank down for a recharge. Called the PB range a couple hours ago and they should have the bank to 4500 by now...what a pain in the ass! Guess I can't complain...been no charge since the first cold case to the boys. :) Fire Department is another story. No luck with 4 stations so far. They "poo poo" over liability.
