Considering the free shipping above $150 and other offers, How many tins do you buy to make sense?June 15, 2018 at 11:23 am LinkHow much do you shoot? Buying enough to make free shipping minimum (also concidering % off sales and buy 3 get one free deals) only makes sense if you shoot enough to use them and not have them sit around “forever”. For me, there is usually something other than pellets that I want to buy so getting free shipping is not usually a problem. Last order was 8- 350 count tins of 25.4g JSB’s. Now I need to order more 33.9g MK2’s. I’ll probably stock up too (they seem to keep running out. Lol).

I have 4 calibers of guns. I shoot at least twice a week. If I have a special upcoming event I’ll shoot more often in practice which all of that makes it a bit easier to spread out the quantity.
I wait for pyramid air to have a sale. Typically there is a promotion for most major holidays and depending on the discount, I buy accordingly. I make sure I buy just enough to round up and take advantage of the buy 3 get one free.
The 13% discounts are fairly common, the 15% is maybe once or twice and a 20% is very rare like they’re recent birthday sale where I went a bit overboard some may say.
If I had to guess, I’d say my ammo bill is probably north of $800 a year.Yes, it depends on how often you shoot, quantity of guns and calibers of said guns. I have 4 calibers of guns. Last year on Black Friday I bought 12 tins of H&N FTT .177 for a little over $6 each shipped. I plan on trying to stock up again if I can find some deals this year.

I’m saving up for one in a few more months and was just wondering what the typical RAW in .25 cal likes or if it is pellet finiky. Just have heard so much about the accuracy people are getting out of it that I can’t help myself … I gotta have one. Yeah, I know, I’m addicted. Had any more trouble with the local LEOs out your way?
