Was kind of wanting black but this one was avalible first so grabbed it. Now that it is here think I like it better than the black.

Mine came yesterday and like you, I went with the silver in .25 because it moved me up on the list. I set up a juice bottle filled with water at 15 yards and shot four pellets into it. They penetrated 5 inches of water and dented the other side of the bottle with one passing all the way through and sticking into the wood backstop. Why though was I expecting the damn thing to be quiet? It is certainly NOT back yard friendly. Hell, I think my 10/22 is quieter! This rifle is over the top! I can't wait to get out and run it where it can stretch its legs.

Got the hawk sidewinder on it and got to shoot it some before dark only had 25 yards here in the back yard but it was a lot of fun to shoot. Action and pushing the pellets in easier and smoother than the wildcat. Accuracy was good shot two different weight JSB's through it. Not much difference in impact on target with the two different weight pellets but that was only at 25 yards. Love it so far. Need to get out chrony and play with power adjustments some going to be interesting. Got about 120 pellets through it today. Will try to keep every one updated on how it goes.

I too was not sure about the silver, but once I had it in my hands I fell in love with it. Still like the black but have absolutely no regrets of getting silver. I have had mine for about 2 weeks and as funny as it is the brown truck driver had to stay and wait to see what it looked like (he's a buddy).

Put just over 1000 rounds through mine and the only thing I had an issue with was the fps on max. Simple adjustment to the power wheel set screw and got it dialed to exactly where it needs to be.

I can say that my impact has gone beyond my expectations. I took a starling at 110 yards from a tree and feel I could do it again (my farthest hit on a bird with any air gun). This has been the most consistent gun I've had as well. My BSA R10 is great too but no where near the impact. 50 yards is almost too easy with the heavies. I have come to the conclusion that you can stack pellets at anything under 50.

My major complaint on the impact is the noise. The .25 running JSB heavies on max is quite loud. It isn't as loud as my 10/22 (had to compare them quick after reading that above) but definitely too loud for any tight quartered urban dwellers. The shroud is most definitely not a gimmick but it needs to be a little bigger for the 25 and 30. I will be getting the fixed shroud when the wife isn't looking :)

I had done a bunch of reading and studying made that adjustment to power wheel set screw before I fired first shot. Only shot mine power 4 tops tried a few lower than 4. Went over it and checked all the screws. At 4 it was not bad noise wise the shroud makes a difference extended for sure. At 25 yards all I could safely shoot at here in the yard it was stacking pellets on top of each other after about five shots and a few twist on the scope it was ready to go. Really have no idea exactly what I am getting but accuracy is good so far. Need to get the chrony out and play with settings have a bunch of work but maybe the next few afternoons I can get some pellets down range. I see a big pellet order in the near future. Think I have about 1000 25cal pellets on hand that is not going to be enough for sure.

"linsfreak"So gentlemen....how quiet is this unique rifle?

Thanks
John
Not whisper quite but will depend on power setting and caliber you chose. Mine I shot in the back yard no problem with power 4 and shroud out. But I my neighbors are all cool with shooting. Where I live you can legally shoot a fire arm so the impact noise is not a problem. Neighbor was out mowing yard about 100 yards away don't think he ever heard it with the mower running.
