Smoking deal at cameraland..athlon ares

Linked post ....I usually donot post deals unless I feel they are exceptional deals:) which this is . I recall a guy here that was posting tons of deals but some of the stuff was junk and one deal I remember was a scam. I will not post the members name:)

@rwsmike Thanks. I saw some Athalons while shopping for a new pair. I ended up purchasing a couple pair of Vortex binos. have you used these Athalons? If so, how do they compare to other brands you’ve used?

Also, if you see any of my links to deals and believe/know the items to be junk or not a good deal, feel free to message me so I can look into it and correct or remove the post. I would appreciate it.

@peskadot671, My Steiners are at least 15 years old 8x30 and a Porro prism model. The Athlon outclasses then in everyway.

Thanks. Just wanted to clarify. I'm not that familiar with binos and didn't look up which Steiner model you listed. I guess whenever I see or hear the brand Steiner, I assume great optics but maybe that was 15 years ago lol.

My 2 pair of Ares arrived today in a very secure double box with FAST UPS shipping. Both pair are in excellent condition and meet if not exceed my Nikon Monarch 10x42 binoculars. I honestly cannot tell the difference between them. Rubber objective lens caps are attached and fit snugly with snap open. Focus is smooth and easy to adjust. Bag & binoculars both have a neck strap with a secure latch on the bag. Quality functional pair which I highly recommend if anyone is interested. These will be excellent for deer hunting here in the Tar Heel state.

IMHO this is an unbeatable deal from CameraLand which now has a lifelong customer.
