Tuning Small holes in Vulcan air tube?? ??

I am re sealing a Vulcan 1.0.

It has a small leak . Once apart, I assembled the air tube, fill port and valve assembly hoping to isolate leak. I heard a small hiss and noticed 2 small holes.

Pic attached. I did a search and did not come up with anything. Any thoughts?

Breather holes for your regulator??

Those holes are normal. Taipans and fx also have them.

I never knew that the engineering used atmospheric pressure in the system.

I did find good info on the Lane YouTube that goes into it.
