Slugs out your smooth twist barrel

I have an FX Streamline in .177 with the smooth twist barrel & have tried NSA's 15.5 gr. slugs in spite of Nick's warning.

"DO NOT BUY THESE OR ANY SLUG FOR A SMOOTH TWIST FX BARREL!"

He was right. This gun puts AA 10.34 & 8.44 gr. pellets into a slightly ragged hole at 25 yards. The groups with the slugs opened up to over 3 inches. I just had to try anyway even though I saw Nick's warning. I'm probably going to try the FX Hybrid slugs whenever they come out in .177. The hybrids are already available in .22, give them a shot if you really want to try slugs in your gun.

I am curious to see how a 22 slug will fly out of the smooth twist barrel now that I have a 22. I'll try a box of those hybrids
