Has anyone had any luck testing slugs out your .22 smooth twist barrel? What's your results with which particular slug? Just curious to try different options
Yes many have used the FX hybrid slugs with excellent results.

In the link that you provided they are using rifles with the Smooth Twist X barrel. I believe Redick is asking about the original Smooth Twist barrel.

I have an FX Streamline in .177 with the smooth twist barrel & have tried NSA's 15.5 gr. slugs in spite of Nick's warning.
"DO NOT BUY THESE OR ANY SLUG FOR A SMOOTH TWIST FX BARREL!"
He was right. This gun puts AA 10.34 & 8.44 gr. pellets into a slightly ragged hole at 25 yards. The groups with the slugs opened up to over 3 inches. I just had to try anyway even though I saw Nick's warning. I'm probably going to try the FX Hybrid slugs whenever they come out in .177. The hybrids are already available in .22, give them a shot if you really want to try slugs in your gun.
