Has anyone found slugs that work well in the .22 huntsman regal? I know it’s not the fastest gun in the West but they would be nice to use even for 50 yard and under hunting.

H have a Huntsman but I haven’t tried slugs in it. My experience with slugs is there is little or no advantage inside of 75 yards . I’d be interested in others opinions on that

I suspect that the lightest Nielsen slugs would somehow fly, but until you check it yourself you won't know.

My buddy shot a magazine of VK's at 22.5gr and they actually worked very well at about 40 yards. When you state that there is no advantage at inside 75 yards, you should see what damage they do to a ground squirrel. Huge expansion and gaping exit wounds due to the hollow points (in 22.5gr).

I did try some of the 19gr. I would group ok every few shots but lots of flyers. Way more power on target though.
