SLUGS and PCP guns

HI I was watching new you tubes this am and saw ED-gun put a Video out on it and to read what he said is spot on , I have casted and make slugs for over a decade and to be honest I enjoyed most of it , But it was soo much time , money , research , testing , tedious work , buying , modifying , and comparing things ., it is a whole bunch of expensive tools and equipment and many hours , and some designs are very temperamental ,but for someone like me , I do own pellet guns and love them all , but I am also a long range hi power rifle shooter , and I am addicted to making the best ammo for any of my guns , I have like OCD with PCP GUNS lol . I may be only one , I know this is true even my pellet guns in .22 , .25. I wash sort weigh and lube my amm down to .,1 of a grain , after going threw bad skirts I have chronograph ones , light and heavy ones , and hunting ones and I usually get the best of the best like 1 tin of 10 , and with my slugs I make and sort , same thing , I use digitally controlled lead and my molds run at same temperature I want everything close to identical , WHY ??? I dont know as a kid I used a sling shot with rocks , my first bb gun i used round balls with a pump , I guess as I aged I want them to be the best they can be and for me I like pushing accuracy longer ranges and If I do hunt I want to be confident I hit where I aim BUt here is his Video , and I agree 100% , I never bought a slug gun and a magic slug and i know the largest slug manufacturer in world and he does same things meaning goes threw many designs to pick one . their is tons of research to it , more actually as I am making sugs for my stuff a manufacturer makes it for every gun ,, I know most of my slugs for 1 gun do not shoot well in my other same caliber gun . it just don't work like this

Thanks for sharing. I can understand his points, and I fully agree with the stance of not manufacturing for John Smith's slugs because of certain people's claims about them shooting well out of their guns.

I also respect a company that takes the position of not hyping up new models months / years before they are available in the hands of buyers. I think it's a pretty scummy tactic, and it isn't anything new (Apple pioneered the art of this non-sense). I bought into hype once, I wont do it again.
