Slug and pellet test in .25 Cricket

I wanted to test the NSA 29 gr slugs at 100 yards and I had about an hour to get set up and shoot before dark. The farmer cut his beans today so that gives me my shooting range back for a while. I set up a target at 104 yards and proceeded to shoot the following groups. This was basically my first try at 100 yards off the bench with different pellets.

Up first was the VK 32.5 gr slugs. I only used a 4 mildot hold over on them but the others were all shot with a 5 mildot hold over. The scope is a Discovery 5x25x50 HI with Hawke style reticle. My gun is zeroed at 35 yards with the 29 gr NSA slugs.

I didnt chrony any of them tonight but at it's current setting the NSA 29 were right at 975 fps.

The VK's didnt fair so well.

Next was the 34 gr JSB MKI's. If it wouldn't have been for the one shot pulled left it would have been about a 1 1/2" group.

Next was the NSA 29 gr and I'm pretty pleased with how they shot at 1.5 ".

Last was the AA 25 gr probably pushing 1000 fps and not too bad.

You can see how much flatter the 25 and 29 gr shot compared the the 34's

Looks like I need to order more NSA slugs and do a little more tuning.
