Tuning Slowing down my Leshiy .25

Yes, it's that simple. While it's always best to adjust the HST and regulator to give the optimum efficiency, you can get away with just adjusting the HST. Just remember that the HST adjustment on the Leshiy, R5, and R5M is the other way around because of its position on the gun. If you're looking at the HST from the barrel side, clockwise will decrease speed and counterclockwise will increase speed. For the amount that you want to reduce in FPS, you should be fine adjusting only HST. BTW, nice group! What distance?

I just got a Leshiy and I love it. It’s completely stock as it came from AoA.

My question is about slowing it down some to get more shots per fill and maybe more energy transfer to the squirrels. Right now, it’s shooting 748fps and regulator is set at 120Bar. I’m shooting JSB Hades in .25 cal.

Can I just rotate the power (HST) a few clicks clockwise until I am getting my target speed of 675 FPS or is it more complicated than that?

How many shots are you getting with the factory tune? 

I’m getting about 20-22 good shots with my .25 Leshiy. RP is somewhere around 130 bar just by watching where my fps starts to drop. That’s with the 25.39 gr JSB Kings flying at 650 fps. I normally fill to 250 bar off my tank.

I have the 12ft/lb Huma in mine. Bar 105, Fill to 250 Bar, 23 shots average 607 and averages 20ft/lbs of energy. Plenty for crows and squirrels at 50 yards. I could tune it even lower, but why? I also have a large Huma, but never fiddled with it.

I have read that you can tune the standard regulator even lower.
