Just sharing the latest with my Slayer. Shooting 150 grain HP at 940 fps for about 290 fpe. One group is at 50 yards and the other is 100 yards. Loving this performance.

Nice shooting. Are you able to add anything to quiet the bark? I imaging it must be quite loud with no moderator. The rounds look great.

These are shipped with a moderator. No hearing protection required but not back yard friendly .

I have really wondered about designing silencers for these bad boys. What is the muzzle thread specification? And how severe is the "ping?"

Do not notice a ping but do notice the recoil for sure. Donny FL makes an adapter for their moderators. Will take a few months to get one. Worth the wait.

Wow that is some great accuracy to go along with all that power Ray! That baby will definitely hunt anything up to black bear I think with a well placed shot...and then 5 quick follow up shots if needed. I just went to American Arms website to look at them again after seeing your post. Chuck, they are available for purchase and first production run are going to be in people's hands I think from what I've been hearing very very soon. I have a .22 pellet shooter on order but would love to eventually get one of the HP .22 slug shooters.

If I was hunting anything I would definitely be interested but I am just a paper puncher at this point in my life, so no need for all that power...but it is an awesome example of what can be done if someone sets their mind to it and is willing to suffer through all the trial and error to get there

I'd say that the pictures of targets show that paper was PUNCHED, and in a mighty fine group too!

They come with a built-in moderator that also utilizes the shroud to feed back through. You can also add a DonnyFL Emperor to that moderator as well. At 275 FPE basically all you hear is the Titanium tube ping and the hammer slap.

Very nice groups Shamu! I have some of those new 358-152 GCs slugs cast up. I'm hoping to hit the 100 yard range soon. I'm hoping to have similar results as you with my Slayer.
