Sights for Quackenbush Pistol

I think I want to just put a set of iron sights on my Quackenbush as opposed to a scope. I asked Dennis for suggestions, but he leans more towards a red dot. The extra optics just make it a little hard to holster while hiking. Any suggestions for a set of pistol sights?

I used a Gamo rifle sight on the rear of my 1377 and then epoxied part of a front sight onto my DIY muzzle brake. Sometimes you have to get creative.

You might be able to use something like this on the front although you may need to modify it a bit to fit your barrel.

Although a simple muzzle brake with a post front sight screwed in would werq well.

Another way of doing both sights.

The rear sight is another story. If you use a Picatinny sight it will be to high for your front sight so you need to modify something again. Take yer pick this will dictate the height of your front sight.

Agreed. That's a nice setup you put together. That's why I thought I would ask before making a final decision. New England Custom Gun seems to have some potential options as well: https://www.newenglandcustomgun.com

...WTF...he didna seem to wanna build me one...I though he was spent...

...he keeps putting me off on a broken rifle...I just gave up...

I know he doesn't take orders or deposits which can make it challenging. IMO you can't beat the gun for the price. I would imagine if he took deposits he would be overloaded. He did say that he was out of barrels and probably wouldn't get around to rifling more until winter, so you might start watching his site closely.

Expect he should be retired by now.

That was my thought as well.

Thanks for the input on the sights.

As to the OP, look into SeeAll sights. At least if you have a rail. If only a dovetail, you'll need an adapter.

Interesting. I hadn't seen those, but I do like the idea better than the Red Dot. It looks like if I move the rear rail back one hole, and more the front rail to the rear it will mount behind the bolt. While I still like the idea of iron sights I may consider that one. I do like that Delta. Thanks.
