Silencer for a tx200hc

Is the Tanto from DonnyFL the recommendation for the TX200HC? Follow-up, DonnyFL says no for springers on anything they make. Not the right material to hold up to the way springers work. So is the AA made silencer the only option?

AoA did not repeat DonnyFL's opinion on moderators/silencers for springers. So hopefully going with the 0dB Airgun Silencer 110C soon.

I think you’re going to find that spring guns are not really suited to moderator use. Look around, most spring guns are sold without moderators. There are a few, but most of those are low end junky guns that rely on new buyers who are just starting out and know next to nothing about airguns.

Let me give you a bit of unsolicited advice. Save your money and buy a moderator when you have a PCP that can actually take advantage it. Most of the sound coming from your TX200 HC is mechanical unless the gun is dieseling because of lubricant in the compression chamber, and even then, that will eventually come to an end.

HWs had / have moderators. Enjoyed one on my HW77K ... AoA offers for other HW's break barrels as well. HW97K has something on the end too. The TX200, I believe has a built in moderator. The TX200HC has specific feature to allow a moderator. So I'm not following your suggestion. Although, most low end springers had NO option for moderators during my exploration into those. Just did not have the same experiences I suppose, thus, that is why I'm looking to have one again on a springer.
