Hello Springer Shooters!!!
Being a PCP shooter, it's rare that I get my hands on a springer to shoot. But, every now and then, I get behind one to try it out. A few months ago, I had chance to get behind the Sig Sauer ASP20 break barrel and, I have to say, I was impressed! So, I decided to pick one up for myself. What impresses me about a springer is the ease of making the shot. aka, accuracy. But, with a springer it's a little different. You cant just count on the rifle to make the shot. The shooter is a major part of the system. For me, this rifle seemed easier to shoot than other springers I've shot in the past. It's still hold sensitive, as I found out during the filming, but does seem to be a more natural hold for me.
It was nice to be able to get a new rifle up and running for ~$500 as opposed to the $2000-3000 that my recent PCP's have all added up to! I stuck a cheapie Tasco Air Rifle scope on it in order to stay right around that $500 mark. It did everything it promised but, it's not going to be able to compete with the scopes I'm used to using which cost 10x that.
I posted this up on Airgun101 a little over a week ago and just posted it up on youtube last night. I'll be premiering my videos on Airgun101.com before they hit youtube for the foreseeable future.
I hope you all enjoy my take on this rifle!
