SideShot Phone to Firefly or GoPro Adapter Plate .STL (FREE)

This is an adapter made for Firefly 8SE and GoPro Hero 3/4/5

-Adapts Sideshot (Phone version) to Firefly/Hero

- This adapter plate leaves plenty of room for the three counter sunk screws to sit just below flush when attached (no interference with GoPro/Firefly). The smaller holes that hold the camera case are 2.3mm in diameter.

- To use this part...You will need 4 M2.5x12 Countersunk screws. M2.5x10 will also work (measured from the start of the threads to the end of the screws). They will screw into the plate firmly with no nuts needed.

-Drill out the existing holes in the Firefly case/Hero case with a 3mm drill bit and counter bore with a 5mm drill bit.

- I can provide .STL's for any degree of offset if needed (although I had perfect alignment).

- Print out of PETG, ASA, ABS or any other durable material. No supports needed.

Well, I printed the adapter, but it wasn't very centered on mine! I'm not sure if there is something up with my Side-Shot adapter or mount or what! Here's the adapter mounted:

I tried it with the rubber adapter from the case and this is how it was aligned:

Then I removed the rubber seal and it seems even worse:

So, if there is a way to to adjust it for better alignment, I'd love to know how! Thanks againn for sharing the .STL, I just hope I can get it aligned better so everything is in the center of the screen.

I am also shopping for an action cam, waiting for gopro or DJI coming out next month.
What I have learned from forums previous years that the gopro 5-6 (I think those earlier models) needed to replace the front lens and that was available from eaglevision, but no newer models gopro. I know the last year gopro 10 didn't had a lens availble for scope mounts.
Never thought about FireFly camera.
What is the optimal wide angle or normal angle lens for using a camera on the scope?

It looks like the 90 deg lens for the firefly 8se. Hajimoto sells them. But looking on Aliexpress, there doesn't seem to be Firefly about, so I'd be keen to know the alternatives that aren't ad pricey as Gopro etc.

My main focus is on action cam, I live in a country and I am biking gravel and cyclecross, watersports, a lot of bush hiking, archery and airguns, and a bunch of other outdoors. Trying to keep this simple, I don't want a separate = dedicated scope cam.
What I have seen prices from EU/UK the FireFly comes par to Sony MK's and close to GoPro Mini 11, also a new DJI Osmo3 is coming out in a month. If I need to buy new I would go for latest.
