Does anyone know where I can purchase the adapter for my sideshot camera mount. I've asked the air hunter guys but they never respond so I figured ask in the forums where people are actually helpful.

Got a reply for the guys over at sideshot. They are actually working on the adapter for the firefly 8se . It's not ready for release tho. Nothing left to do but wait.

The guys at Side-Shot have gone silent. Nothing on their youtube, Facebook or web site in over a year. I am also trying to find out how to adapt the Firefly 8SE to the Side-Shot mount. I guess I will have to create my own adapter. Time to break out the 3D printer and cad/cam program to get this done. If successful I may consider making a kit.

I customized the Side-Shot mount to adapt a Firefly action camera case so I just have to drop in the Firefly 8se camera now I just press record before I pull the trigger. With this setup I don’t have to deal with changing the lens of the GoPro camera or refocus it. In my opinion it’s one of the best plug-in-play scope cam setup. Some members here on Airgun Nation are also using my setup. PM me if you are interested in more information.

Here is a little info on the FireFly setup as well if you do not have the ability to make a adapter plate the link below shows where you can get one along with an installation video.

The FireFly 8SE comes with an enclosure that is attached to an adapter that is printed out at a certain thickness with mounting holes in in it. All you have to do is buy the $100 FirFly 8se Cam with the 90 degree lens which comes with the case, then purchase a $20 adapter or make one yourself. You could probably make a adapter plate out of any piece of nylon or plastic or wood for that matter and drill the mounting holes and that's all there is to it.
I have ordered the mounting plate and camera which should be here shortly, I have the plate bracket just need the cam to get here. The mounting bracket is 10mm thick. I will let you know how it turns out.

I have received and installed my FireFly 8se adapter onto my Side-Shot cam mount. Very easy install and works great. Just follow Orion The Iguana Hunter's install and settings https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qx4t2xkGKs&t=2s and a little fine adjustment and you should be good to go at a reasonable cost.

Great tips! I measured mine and there is about .0775" difference between the eyepiece focus ring. I'll be printing one tomorrow.
