ok guys just got my lens from eagle vision and just want to share the quality so anyone interested can decided if they want to get one.

Items are side shot phone mount $199. (i modify it to fit the gopro on).

go pro case from ebay $12

go pro hero 7 black on sale when i purchase it new from gopro.com for $229. i believe its still on sale.

eagle vision lens 12mm 1/2.3 lens $60 shipped to the US. They also have the 12mm 1/1.8 lens for 93 uk currency. So translate to USD with shipping around $140.

    total about $500 USD.

Video is only a test, no shooting, and sorry for the shaking. Its 1080p 240 fps.

Can you post a pic of your setup with the case and all.

    Looks great!

If you don't already have side shot go pro then I recommend just buying the side shot go pro case. Then it would be plug and play. It will fit hero 5, 6, and 7. It runs for $279. I got the phone version which is $199. But I wanted 240 fps. So I switch to the go pro 7. I just remove the phone plate that connects to the side shot. It has 3 screws holding it. To get the go pro case to fit on the side shot you need a plate between the side shot and case. I do not have any machine to make this plate  so I just use plywood. Cut it into a square block, drill 3 holds to match where the original phone mount is mounted to the side shot. Then I drill a hold into the wood to see through into the side shot mirror. I spray paint the plywood black to match. The go pro case has a glass where the lens cover is. So I use heat to remove the glass. I attach the plywood to the side shot and then attach the case to the plywood. Here are some pics.

Thanks for the info. I want a camera and that mount would work. I already have the hero 7. Need to make a you tube video step by step. I bet you would get a lot of likes.

I actually have both lenses. I watched a video and the clarity is better with the 1/1.8 but you can't use to original lens cover. I have the 1/2.3 lens on my GP7 now but I still haven't used it for anything. I have the entire Eagle Vision set up.  I may try it out on this months shooting challenge.

FYI. There appears to be a lot of people having good success with the Firefly 8SE with the 90 degree lens. You can but a $25 3d printed adapter (or make you own) to use it with the side shot mount. So instead of buying an expensive lens for my Hero 5 I just an 8SE and the adapter
