Sideshot camera mount tips or tricks?

You have to get the parallax set correctly and the ocular adjusted correctly. Pretty much trial and error. The rest is the camera. No experience with the galaxy. It can be challenging. I would set the gun up on a tipton rest or similar and get the gun level and pointed and adjusted to 100 yards or 40 if you're talking air guns Then adjust the parallax as well as you can to your eye as well as the ocular. Put the phone on and start to record. You should be able to adjust the parallax while recording. If the cross hairs are not in focus. Back the ocular out a half turn and see if that helped. Ideally you should be able to see the cross hairs clearly as well as having the target in focus. If the cross hairs are not level you have to correct that by adjusting the mount to the scope. It's needs to rotate up or down a little to get the cross hairs level. Try to let the phone auto focus and see if that will work. If not then with the I phone you touch the screen and it will spot focus for you. You can lock the focus. The skopecam has an APP that I down loaded which helped me because my phone has two lens's and that didn't work looking thru the side shot. The app allows you to select the correct lens. This stuff can keep you busy for a while. The good thing about the phones is the screens are large enough you can see. With the go pro the screen is small and with the tacticam you have no screen at all.
