Side-Shot

I get the dreaded "Your device is not compatible" screen. Thanks for the attempt though. This week I will try a few highly ranked apps for my Droid turbo 2 and see what I can do.

I bought one of these and it works like a champ. It uses my iPhone but will let you use any phone. Nice thing is, I can put my eye right where I always do and shoot normally. And iPhone does a cool thing when you shoot slo-mo. It doesn't start slow motion for 3 or 4 seconds and allows time to get in front of the scope to shoot. I shot my very first video a couple of days ago. It isn't very good but it shows how it works. There are things wrong with it, but there is a lot right with it. I can get the lighting better and of course make sure the device is level on the scope (which I didn't in this case). But take a look at this thing. What do you think?

Loving my side shot so far. Had it up and running in no time, without even reading the instructions

I bought extra clamps in order to move side shot from rifle to rifle in seconds. It is so well thought out.
Posted a couple videos on Instagram (airgunner.usa) Texan .45 vs crappy Gamo field target.. Having a great time with it!

Ok I got my side shot in and downloaded FilMic Pro. Is there a flip feature to flip the image

I just joined the cool kid club. Mine shipped for 216.00 from Airguns of Utah but is not here yet.
I had a true double today on the rock squirrels. Two little guys poked out of the same hole in response to my cell phone squirrel call, and stayed in line long enough for me to get them both on one pellet. I can't rightly claim a true double header w/o the video evidence. DAGUM IT!

My Side Shot comes tomorrow, do they work with larger phones? (e.g. iPhone XS Max).
EDIT: mine came today - there's generous enough spacing to fit my Max with an Otterbox Pursuit case. I also see what they mean about flat edges being easier to side in and out.
Now I just need to figure out how to align the unit on my scope so my sight picture rotation is straight.. using 34mm (6 screw) NF rings, the nuts get in the way of the last ~5 degrees or so of CCW rotation. If I cant get it rotated and aligned, it'll be a coin toss between taking a cutting wheel to the arms of the Side Shot or remounting my ATACR with the rings flipped to the other side (took me forever to get this scope perfectly aligned!
