Yeah, trying to figure out how to have the video show on the post, and not be a link to Vimeo. Fixed the link though.

nice shot. what is cutting off the top of the video? used to seeing almost all of the circle. if you look at mine just a few posts down that is a firefly camera as well in the new orion cam setup.

Thanks, it was about 75 yards. The top of the picture is cut off, due to me zooming in when I edited the video.

@cp598 -- what do you use to edit the videos if you don't mind my asking? I've got the same camera and have recorded some videos with it in the past but:
A) everything is backwards (mirror imaged)
B) I absolutely suck at video editing . . . I've not the first clue how to get started with it ( lol )
I just want something brain dead easy - pull video file(s) off of camera. Flip so everything is normal (vs. backwards), rotate if need be ( sometimes thing recordings at weird angles ) and finally just be able to save it so I can post and share.

I wanted something exactly as you describe. I've tried a few and wasn't able to find anything that was that simple. I am currently using Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 17. It is extremely powerful and free. I don't have a clue how to use even a fraction of what it has available, but I am able to get by. It does have a function to flip the image which I do.

DaVinci here as well. Learn a bit more as I get more involved with playing with my video edits to do or add different elements to them. It’s free and powerful. Who could want anything more?

Is it only Youtube videos that you can embed right to the post? You have to click on a link in my Vimeo hosted videos.
