Side shot

Pro cam too but the adds suck

since the side-shot use a mirror, it flip the image left to right. I use Filmic Pro cause it has a build in function to flip the video without needing another app like (Rotate & Flip) to edit the video.

This is good to know. My SideShot just shipped from UtahAirguns today. I ordered some FX No Limits rings as well. This is for my Streamline 22.

Here's a video I just made from yesterday using a regular camera behind the scope. You can see how the snow was messing with the auto focus. I've heard that the app will allow you to set your phone to lock focus on the reticle and you do the rest with parallax adjustment, which should be great!

I just bought Filmic Pro and it seems to work just fine on my Motorola Z2 Force. Now I'm super anxious for the SideShot to arrive!!

There's a rotate and flip App from CodeEdific that does it. It is recommended by SideShot if your phone won't do it through the FilMic App. Mine doesn't so I got the other App and tried it on a test video....it worked just fine.

I saw that in the video. Unfortunately it's not in the menu on my phone.

I just got a USPS notification that my SideShot was shipped and should be delivered on Friday! Even if it comes in on Saturday that should give me enough time in the evening to put the new scope mounts on along with getting the SideShot all set up for a visit to the Dairy on Sunday. Super excited to try this out!

Bob_O, At first I didn't think my version of Filmic Pro had that option either.Be sure to scroll down once your in Hardware. There's more there if you'll do this and you'll find that option.

I looked again and tried to scroll but don't have it. :-(

My first SideShot outing didn't go well. FilMic Pro kept crashing on me and most recordings ended up being very small, not as pictured on the phone screen when I was recording.

Did some testing inside last night.....looks like I need to use 1080p and 60fps for the best results. All other modes of resolution and fps give me smaller sized results for viewing.

I'll get out again tomorrow and try for some better video.

I went to a new spot today and got what I think was some excellent footage with the side shot. Lots of kills on starlings and sparrows.

I found this app that works great with my Motorola phone and does not have any ads plus it was free.

Here's just one clip I thought I'd share until I can get an actual video put together.

It was recorded in 1080p at 120fps.

FiLMiC Pro for me, too. Love the slow motion.
