Been a couple situations where a backup open sight may have been useful. So seek your folks' recommendaxns for a side mount holo for my TalonP, for those ca. 10YD shots. Really picky about the particular POI I need for a kill shot, so will take lot of practice to get the hang of one. My absolute needs in a holo are:

Really picky about the particular POI I need for a kill shot, so will take lot of practice to get the hang of one. My absolute needs in a holo are:
- Ample adjustment to get dot to my POA, ca 5-10 YD, with some to spare.
- Robust with a solid hood, cause the gun may rest on it.
- No solar, unless holo can funxn in pre-dawn lighting under canopy. Prefer CR2032 batts
- Water-, mud- and snot-"proof".
- Compact in size.

Been eyeing a US Optics DRS 2.0, well, cause I run one of their scopes. Members here that are users of such setups, seeking your advices. Attached below is photo of my gun, with a placeholder mount for idea where holo will mount. I shoot lefty now, since like last year. Pretty tight nesting the holo up there with the focus knob possibly in line of sight. Bubble will come off later.
