Close-up of the Hierenkan.

The Hierenkan is an interesting looking bird.

"How many FPE is the Titan SSP?"  The Titan SSP was .177 caliber, and produced 10.5 foot-pounds Steve.

"The Hierenkan is an interesting looking bird". Interesting bird indeed WC, and rarer than hens' teeth! That's one I really, really, REALLY wish I hadn't parted with. I shot several five-shot groups at 50 yards of 1" or less with it... with the excellent factory micro-peep sights. She broke 900 FPS with medium weight pellets and 800 FPS with Kodiaks. As excerpted from Airgun Chronicles.

Thanks for showing so many unusual ones, Ron. I really wanted a Heirinkan at one time but the 3 or so I've seen for sale were either too much money or gone immediately. Never had a Mohawk or Genesis, either. I really enjoyed the Sharp Ace sidelever I bought from you in 93 or so and kind of reget trading it off but still have others.

Saw all the nice SSPs and had to jump in.

I've had a couple of Walthers as well as my current inventory but one of the best shooting was a Gamo 126. Funky might be an understatement but when you shouldered it... perfect. Very nice trigger and very accurate. Had a Daisy similar to one of the posters above that was h*ll on sparrows. It was nice to shoot but wasn't built very well, so I sold it at some point.

I looked up that 126. Ha, I didn't know Gamo marketed something that fancy.

I wish another couple fpe could be squeezed out of my FWB 601, but that would probably make it hard to pump. It's amazing how many clicks I have to dial in on the rear sight to get to 40Y on that thing! Also surprising how few clicks to achieve the same distance with a FWB300s??? Probably sight height, maybe finer click value in the 601???

Ha, I like that saying someone mentioned earlier in this thread - the older I am the better I was.

Hello AirNGasman, what an exquisite collection of pumpers you have/had! I hope you don't mind me commenting on this old post. I am writing a book about Sharp (one about Heirinkan will probably follow), and I wondered if you still have the serial numbers of your old Sharp guns? That would be interesting info for the book, as I am trying to find logic in sn's. Especially the 648 Deluxe is one that I have very little info about. Thank you in any case for your attention, and kind regards, Louis (book email address: [email protected])

Ps. My Ace, in .177 caliber:
