Shoutout to Varmint Knockers Slugs

Hey Team,

Coming out of my BT65 25 cal, there are only three slug makers that my rifle will shot with any accuracy; Dale at Varmint Knockers. Stephon from AVS, and Richard (ricmor_hv3fazc3). All these guys can be found on Ebay, and from my experience they all have Great Products. I've tried some of the bigger named makers with no impressive outcomes. My rifle has a Lothar Walther barrel and it is a solid match with those slugs. If you get a chance, trying them out.

My .25 Condor LOVES the 38gr AVS slugs in .254. Interestingly, I shot the 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40gr slugs in .254 from Stephen, and all shot ok except for the 38gr. The 38gr shot almost hole in hole! Now that being said, they may be stable at the velocity I was shooting them. So I'm still going to tune my gun around the slugs. I'm going to play with velocities around that slug and see if I can get them to hole in hole accuracy at 50 yards. I ordered 300 of them from him over the weekend.

Stephen from AVS, Dale from Varmint Knockers, and Tracy from Griffin are all GREAT guys! Nick from NSA is a really cool guy as well. I've just had less interactions with him.

BTW- the barrel I'm using to shoot the 38gr AVS slugs in .254 is a Russian Federation barrel with a .252/.247 land/groove diameter. It has a 1:15 twist and it's 24" long. I was sending them downrange at 910fps. But I adjusted my regulator to send them downrange at 980fps. It may be too fast. But I ran out of time (and unfortunately ammo) to see if the increased velocity helped or hurt accuracy. I'll test them out this weekend.
