Should i wait for new airguns or buy now

Hello everyone , i have my eyes on the fx impact and since im new to airguns , i dont know when the airgun companies present their new products.I know that evanix is planning something big (they claim) for 2018 , or so they say at their site (about semi auto rifles). As the title says , should i buy an airgun now or wait for when the presentations of the new airguns will happen and decide then(which i have no idea when this is happening)? Thanks in advance!

getting the latest and greatest out may not be a good idea. History shows a small number of new guns released will develop problems. Let someone else see how deep the water is. Particularly if you are new to airguns.
The more complex and more "moving" parts only means more issues develop too.
Consider something that has been out for awhile. something if you need some help here or elsewhere you can get it.
just my 2 cents

No matter what you decide.... as soon as you buy something (usually no later than a week or 2) you will see the next GREAT gun and will torture yourself over it till you get it then the cycle repeats till you run out of money either by spending it on guns or your wife takes it in the divorce (caused by the MANY airgun purchases) settlement! :p

Dave Cole took the words out of my mouth . No need to list examples , but Airguns are kinda known for hitting the market and later trying to get the bugs worked out . It has happened to me , and most everyone who's been in the sport a while .
Its a sickening feeling to take a new gun out of the box only to discover an obvious flaw and see where it has already been halfway repaired at the factory and was boxed up and shipped anyway .
Let someone else be the test monkey . For me personally , I'll never buy a new to the market model again. Once bitten, twice shy

Instead of buying or waiting for the latest & greatest, another approach would be to buy something tried and tested that's been in production for years. As mentioned above, the Benjamin Mrod is one possibility - its been used to win National FT championships. Another, my personal favorite, is the Daystate Huntsman Regal. Both are great out of the box, but can be improved even further with easy to install items (e.g. a regulator; moderator, etc). They are also excellent value for $.
