Shot Show 2020 Hill Compressor

I like Hill, not sure I can trust Venturi. Proof me wrong.

Wondering the real benefit of buying something you can only fill the gun with. I guess if you have access to power at the range or are using it to fill at home it's great. Still at $1000 I think I would want something capable of filling my tanks? It is a very nice unit I just don't see the application working for my needs.

Personal experience with Venturi, not a good one. I bought their Booster with my hard earned $, had to return it twice. 2nd time for my $ back. Left a sour taste in my mouth.

I have never owned a Hill pump, but have never heard anything bad about them. Would actually buy one if I wanted to hand pump.

Would welcome a free Venturi unit & promise to give a fair review. #AirgunSupremacy

I'm sure you are aware that the Hill compressor is a product of Air Venturi here in the usa. All I was saying was I don't understand why anyone would want a compressor that can only fill the gun and not a tank..kinda limits us to being stuck at home or somewhere that has power.

No, I did not. Thanks for the info. I got you. I would not mind (personally) a compressor that can only fill the gun, as long as it is a quality unit. Personally because my Tacoma has an inverter in the bed/back and I would be able to fill on the fly. It is just that I had a bad experience with Air Venturi's unit in the past, and that was enough. Hugs to Marley 😊

Yeah an inverter is way to go, I loved the Nomad ii and thankful I didn't have anything go wrong. The Hill is a very nice unit, I looked at it closely at the Shot Show. Still at $1000 I think I would just invest in another large tank. Marley's sitting next to me now watching Tremors 4 lol

I hear you on the Air Venturi quality issue. I'm not sure Umarex is any better, but they have a similar styled compressor at 1/2 the cost and supposedly made sure it was built as reliable as possible. I'm looking at that as well as another Chinese one coming out this year as well.
