Shot my RC 1377 converted to 1322 carbine today

I have this rear cocker that I put a 14.5" .22 barrel on, a Baker Aluminum breech, and I gave it some more space in the valve.(shorter poppet, longer spring)

Also replaced the pivot pin, with something a little nicer. Now it's wearing the carbine stock, and a Barska 3-9

No problem punching bean cans with some FTT"s at about 35 good paces, putting them through..

A good day!😁

I just bought an alchemy airworks breech because I am making a backpack carbine and want to make a holster for it. That guy makes his breeches flat in the back so you can use factory rear sights with steel breech. I also got the flat man pack from alliance hobby and I am lapping and deburring a 14.5in crosman barrel and of course got the carbine stock. I cant remember right now but i have it written down in my log book but i believe stock this pistol is shooting 14.3 cph at 440 fps or pretty close to that. Im hoping i can milk 600 fps out of it. I have been shooting those crosman open sights for over 30 years now and although basic they work just fine. Only thing is I had to buy the discovery fiber optic front sight for the 14.5in barrel and have never used it before. Its probably better than the post but thats what im good at and the wires seem like they could break off or be lame in the field. Oh well thanks for the post i love these guns. Very accurate for what they are and with a lw barrel ive seen dudes do insane trickshots. I just cant justify the cost.

Here she is!

The purpose of my gun is truck gun/omg I just saw a giant jackrabbit/emergency food getter but crosmans bug out gun is way too weak for me. I will keep it in my car and if i ever had to i could live off birds and squirrels and such but most likely it will be my main weapon of opportunity i keep behind the seat. I believe that with the 14.5in barrel and the modded valve and piston, expanded transfer port and stronger hammer spring I should be able to milk 10 or 11 fpe. Thats fine with me but 6 to 8 is pissing me off. The pellet hits hard enough to kill with a head shot at that power but the problem is using open sights i have no holdover and i want that flatter trajectory to eek out 30 yards with open sights. I love this gun but i should have just bought a Benjamin marauder pistol after the cash ive dumped into this greedy money trap.
