I would like to buy one for my PP700. Preferably something that can focus at less than 10 Yards and compact. What would you suggest?

I used a UTG Bugbuster 3-12x32 for a short time when I had it set up as a carbine, but took it off because the scope interfered with with loading the pellets. It checks all your boxes and would be perfect for the pp700 IF it could be mounted far enough forward to clear the loading port. Alas, it can't. I just mention it as a warning for any scope you might consider.
If needing magnification, I've found the best option is a pistol scope. The magnification range is small enough that you don't need to fiddle with focus and it can see just fine at short ranges.

BSA or Centerpoint 2x pistol scope. I use the BSA on my P17 and the Centerpoint on my PP700. I only shoot 10yrds in the winter and both do just fine. Parallax isn’t horrible.

I have a BugBuster 3-12x32 on mine now. It’s focuses real close. I have also used a Simmons .22 mag 3-9x32. It’s a much larger scope but mine is sharper than the BugBuster. I like the looks of the BB on the gun better.

Sightron sih ft can focus to 8 yards easily. I've also found the range markings on the ao are pretty accurate.

I put a 3 mil red dot ADE HOLO Sight on mine. Love it! 42 bucks shipped! No worry about focus. And long range? Ram is 80 yards. circle dot is 3/4"
