Shooting Slugs with the Taipan Veteran?

Anyone have experience shooting the Nielson slugs through the LW barrel?

I have a batch of the 34.7gr slugs on order. I believe the slugs' length is ~~.345"~~, 0.334", which should fit into the magazine of my Veteran .25 cal. long. I.e. if there are no contraindications with this barrel.

I have not tried the NSA in my .25 standard but the Varmint knocker 32.8 and 33 gn shoot amazingly well. I was shooting prairie dogs out to 150 yds today with it. Tried the HS 48 gn and the Veteran did not like them at all.

i just tried this afternoon, same slugs and same gun, 45 yds 2 1/2" spread ctc. maybe you will have better luck.

I own a tapan veteran std in ,22 and it shoots slugs very well and the magizine is plenty deep It can fit my 55 gr slug , I have shot m5 gr mp and noe slugs all did well

Just received the VN 24 grain to try in my .22 Veteran long.

And ordered some custom weights in .25 for my Cricket carbine.
