Shooting in high winds.

I mounted a new Bushnell Engage 6-24X50 with 30mm tube on my RAW HMX .30 caliber and couldn't wait to shoot. I had a Hawke 4-12 mounted but gun deserved better.I really like the quality and clarity of the Bushnell, I have an Aztec Emerald on my Brocock Bantam Sniper and the Bushnell is hands down a better scope. Now my only issue is the wind really kicked up here in central PA. I set a target at 85 yards and the 44 grain pellet does get pushed around but not as bad as I thought. From that distance I was able to manage 3" groups in 20mph sustained winds with gusts of 40 mph. In comparison I couldn't even hit the target board with my .22 Bantam Sniper in these windy conditions. So a 44 grain pellet going 900 fps bucks the wind pretty good.
