Took my w/cat .25 out today, re sighted in my old scope, set up some cards to shoot at forty yards, I love how reactive they are when the get hit, this gun is amazing.

Nice shootin' man. It is so satisfying when you hit something like this. One of my favorite 50 yard targets is to set up splat balls, not paint balls which are larger, but the pea sized ball. I put them on a golf Tee and see how many shots it takes to get all 10 of them. :)
I also like shooting old spray paint cans with a burning road flare in the near proximity. Makes a real nice fireball sometimes :)

Ooooo... yeah, the paint can road flare is a very BAD idea anywhere is has been dry. I see the news here in Texas of a monster fire going on out your way.

Yes the splat balls are really fun :) and they don't catch anything on fire :/

the board you see is something else I was shooting. I usually take 2, 2x4 and nail them together in an L shape so I can drill hols for the T's and have the other board sticking up behind as a back stop so I can see which way I missed. I usually get all 10 with between 11 and 12 shots. Still haven't hit that magic 10 for 10 yet. But it is a 177 at 50 yards with pellets straight out of the tin. But it is tons of fun.

Yeah just shooting paper does get old. But then the next time I go back out, it is fun again :)

I buy those little splat balls because they are much smaller than a paint ball. Just got my delivery of 50 "beer pong" balls. I'm going to put them on a stick for shooting at 100 yards and see what happens. I also got some regular ping pong balls to toss in the river. Hitting a moving target is a lot of fun. And can be very challenging.

After Halloween, I always watch for leftover candy. If I find any hard candy, especially anything round, I'll buy a bag or two. They make a nice little "come apart" when you blast them with a 25. And they melt, so the clean up is easy :) Ice cubes do the same thing and can be a lot of fun. I spray paint them for a good site picture. :)

At the "shoot&tune" this weekend with my buds, we are going to shoot at some kitchen matches and see if any of us can get one to light. Last spring I was blowing the heads right off the stick without lighting. You gotta just nick it. lol.

Anyone else have target ideas?

All good fun, I have 2 mechanical reset falling plate targets, and a pair of heavy steel Caltrops with round steel targets on the ends.. You hit it and it rolls around but always presents a new face to shoot at.
Probably the hands down favorite is the humble CAN! Soda cans, steel veggie cans, beer cans, they all work.

The most fun with two shooters is the "CAN RACE".. This is where you take 2 identical cans and lay them on the ground side by side. Each shooter picks his can, and then the fun begins. The game is won not by just hitting your can, but doing so in a fashion to make it roll downrange. First one to roll his can over a per-determined finish line wins!
