Shoebox F10 doesn\'t come on....

Have you tried a different wall outlet?

I agree with Odoyle.. once you plug it into a wall outlet and hit the springy lever on the front, the fan should come on then you hit the lever again and the pump comes on. 

Change the outlet.



unfortunately the only diagram I have is of the unit itself and the manual.  

Plug a light or something else in the outlet to make sure you have voltage, if you don't have a meter. The small cooling fan should run when the power switch is on, whether or not you have started the pump motor. Also, the cooling fan is not controlled by the pressure switch, so I think your problem is likely in the switch, or the outlet.

The pressure switch should be closed when there is no pressure.

Not 100% familiar with the F10 but I would think if the auto stop cutoff pressure adjuster is set to zero or minimum it could possibly not turn on.

Just the pump not the cooling fan.

Check the switch or jump it out.
