shipping from USA to France

Hi guys... I've got this problem right now. It seems impossible to ship from USA to France because of different policies and s*@& especially when it comes to ordering sc scopes.
And when I compare the prices from both countries, I kinda have an heart attack : same scope (bushnell elite tactical 6-24x50 g2dmr) 800 dollars in the US versus 1100 euros here (the cheapest I could find was 900 euros). Same for an atlas bipod PSR : 300 dollars vs 430 euros.
When you know that 1 dollar = 0.84 euros... you're like WTF ??!!!

So do you have any tips on which I could rely on to order my stuff as cheap as possible please? (And if you have any clue for preventing the extra taxes at the borders... =/)

Thanks guys =]

It is Federal Law (here anyway) that forbids export - unless you have ALL the rather expensive permits and keep all the paper work for years,... ... .. -. IF the scope (normally "tactical" which among other possible things could be a mil-dot ot IR or...) if forbidden to export without permits the crime is exactly the same a selling a rocket launcher.
It darn sure wouldn't be worth ME sending a scope out of country. Best to try calling any/all import/export airgun dealers. Still likely save a bit, not a lot as they must pay for the permits,... , but ??

The duty fees will still be accessed by the host country upon arrival no matter if the scope is sent as a gift. No laws broken if the item is declared, just a little cheaper to send from an individual than a business.
