Sharpie Mean Streak Yellow Marker for target touch-up

Maybe this is old news, but I discovered the Sharpie Mean Streak Yellow marker is a color match for the yellow paddle paint on the Gamo-style field targets. These markers are used to permanently mark metals. They use a paint that works well on dirty surfaces. I've been using the marker to touch-up just the paddles after a shooting session. I foresee their use at matches to quickly repaint target paddles between rounds at courses with limited number of targets that get repeated after distance adjustments. The paint dries in just a couple minutes. The marker can also be used on the Air Venturi silhouette targets for a very close color match. Just wear a disposable plastic glove so you don't accidentally mark your fingers while holding the silhouette.

Good info. We have been using permanent markers for putting detail on targets for some time. Just make sure that the base paint is good and dry before using the markers. Works great on squirrels, rabbitts, and any animal that is grey or at least lighter than black. On black animals I have used a white paint pen. Paint pens are not cheap but they do last awhile. The black markers are available in dollar stores for cheap.
